None at all. This course is designed for complete beginners. If you can hold a brush, you're already ready to start.

Yes — two options. You can use Klarna at checkout to split your payment automatically, or contact us to arrange a 3-month payment plan of £499 per month. Either way, your portal access begins as soon as your first payment is made.

The theory is fully self-paced — most students complete all 7 modules in 6 to 10 weeks depending on how much time they dedicate each week. For the October practical cohort, the theory deadline is 30 September — giving you a full 3 months from enrolment in July to work through everything at your own pace.

Practical sessions are held in person, in Manchester. Location details are confirmed when you book your practical slot after passing the theory exam. Dates and location are released to enrolled students ahead of each cohort.

Not a problem. Your portal access stays open and you'll roll into the next cohort's practical whenever your theory is complete. There's no pressure to rush — the course is designed to fit around your life. Just let us know and we'll get you into the next available practical slot.

Yes — this was a core part of how the course was designed. Every lesson comes in video, written, and audio format. Quizzes have no time limit by default and can be retaken as many times as you need. Module overviews are sent in advance so you always know what's coming. If you have specific learning needs, flag them to us at enrolment and we'll do everything we can to support you.

On successful completion of both the theory exam and practical assessment you'll receive a CPD Level 3 Accredited Certificate from Xaviet Beauty Academy. This is recognised across the UK and internationally and can be used to obtain professional insurance, add to your CV, and demonstrate your qualification to clients and employers. Your certificate will include your full name, grade, date of completion, and a unique verification number.

Yes. A CPD Level 3 certificate is widely recognised by insurance providers across the UK, meaning you can obtain professional public liability and treatment liability insurance and begin taking paying clients as soon as you qualify. While there is no legal licensing requirement for nail technicians in the UK, holding a CPD accredited qualification demonstrates your professionalism and protects you and your clients.

Enrolment for Cohort 1 opens 1 July 2026. We recommend enrolling by 31 August at the latest to give yourself a full month to complete the theory before the 30 September deadline. Places are limited — once the cohort is full, enrolment closes.
